colophon
This website is written by hand.
This was in part inspired by a post on LMNT, and because I like to work on the finished files, instead of having to remember how to build stuff.
The site is tested exclusively in Firefox, but should work in other browsers also.
There are two things that have a small build step, typst equations and the (disused?) bookmarks list.
No text or code found on this website is LLM-generated.
All en- or em-dashes, qutation marks, and other fancy symbols are lovingly hand-inserted using AltGr, Compose, or Ctrl-V.
To keep the website accessible, I try to use the correct semantic html whenever possible; add alt text to all images.
The color scheme in both light and dark modes has AAA contrast for body text and at least AA for links and other text.
This site has a dedicated color scheme for print or monochrome displays.
This website works without javascript, but it is used to enhance the experience in some places or e.g. for the last.fm widget on the home page.
The font used on this website is Besley* by indestructible type*.
Many of the buttons seen on my buttons page are made by me.
They have been drawn using libresprite or Pinta.
The layout of the recipes is heavily inspired by the swiss school cookbook TipTopf.
I don’t understand why most recipes separate the ingredients from the steps they’re used in.
This website is self-hosted on a small VPS i rent at netcup.
This website collects some minimal analytics using Cabin. (“privacy-first, cookie-free and anonymous by design.”)
If you have a good adblocker, this gets blocked anyway.
